Vox, the Evil Sonic Lord
Vox is a malevolent Sonic Lord and the main antagonist of the Freefonix series. As a powerful and cunning adversary, he poses a constant threat to the band and their mission to protect the world of music.
Character Biography[]
Vox has a long-standing rivalry with Sugar Che, who eventually managed to imprison him in the Void of Silencia. Despite being locked away, Vox continues to scheme and plot against Freefonix and other Sonic Lords. In the past, he has fought Diva and cursed her voice, a hex that was ultimately broken.
Vox is determined to conquer the world and will stop at nothing to achieve his nefarious goals. In the episode "Land of the Lost," he shape-shifts into a human-like form and adopts the name Kilano, attempting to deceive Freezbone into setting him free.
Personality and Abilities[]
Trapped in the Void of Silencia, Vox is often frustrated and irritable, especially since he is confined within Mya's mirror. When Mantyz played in the first episode, Vox's imprisonment allowed him to use the mirror as a window into Mya's office. He frequently clashes with Mya and relishes any misfortune that befalls her. Despite his confinement, Vox remains an imposing and fearsome figure. His anger can be terrifying, and he never hesitates to use his cunning and power to manipulate events from within the Void of Silencia.

- Vox's name is Latin for "Voice". For the most part this name is meaningful in that he often has to rely on the voices of others to escape the Void of Silencia, though it's also ironic in that during the one Sound Clash he appears in, he doesn't have his own song, simply reusing They'll Make A Monster Of You as his battle theme.
- Vox and Kilano's ties to each other is one of the show's biggest mysteries. It's been theorized that Vox and Kilano are the same person, that Kilano was Vox's previous incarnation, that their identity is a Jekyll and Hyde situation, that Kilano was one of Vox's henchmen or that Kilano was simply an antagonist who just happened to be useful to Vox at the moment.
- Kilino's full name is Vincenzo Ozric Xavier, which spelled VOX.
